Your team
One flat fee. Everything else is the law, at cost
On a fully registered employee in Mexico, statutory costs add about 40% on top of salary. Our legal and tax team designs the right structure for each role, within the law, so you pay what the law requires and nothing more.
Four situations we handle often. Client names stay private.
The situation
A US company paid its Mexico team as contractors, straight from a bank account abroad. The work looked like employment, and Mexican law treats it that way.
What we do
We review each role, move the people who work as employees onto our Mexican employer with full statutory benefits, and keep true contractors under Contractor of Record.
The result
One compliant structure, with no gap in anyone’s pay.
The situation
A company needed to let a team member go in Mexico and wanted it done right.
What we do
We calculate the final settlement (Finiquito) line by line: salary owed, the proportional year-end bonus (Aguinaldo), unused vacation and the vacation premium (Prima vacacional), plus severance when the law requires it. Our labor lawyers prepare the release documents.
The result
A clean, documented exit, and a former employee who was treated fairly.
The situation
A team mixed full-time employees in Mexico with contractors in other countries, each under a different provider.
What we do
One agreement with Thriver covers Employer of Record for the employees and Contractor of Record for the contractors.
The result
One contract, one invoice and one team to call.
The situation
A company wanted to engage a contractor in Venezuela and needed to show its compliance team every step.
What we do
Before the first payment, we put together a full due diligence package: identity verification, sanctions screening, a signed contractor agreement and records for every payment.
The result
A file the compliance team can approve, and a contractor paid on time.

Questions buyers ask us
What does "at cost" mean?
Salaries, social security, the housing fund, state payroll tax and statutory benefits are billed exactly as the law sets them. Our fee is the only thing we charge.
Do you mark up exchange rates?
No. Pass-through amounts convert at the market rate on the payment date, and that is the rate you see on your invoice.
Can I switch from another EOR provider?
Yes. We plan the move around your notice period, coordinate final payments and keep your team's seniority dates.
